Inspiring the next generation of change-makers!
Ecoskope is a community for change-makers, for sharing ideas, learning from one another, and growing. If you want to keep up-to-date and be inspired by what others are doing out there, you can do so with no need for registration and an account. For those of you, however, who wish to share their community's projects on the platform, the set-up of a login will be required.
What information does the app need, and how is it used?
The Ecoskope app obtains the information you provide when you choose to register an account. When you register with the Ecoskope app, you provide
(a) information that helps us authenticate you before you can use some sections of the app, i.e. username, password, and e-mail.
Additionally, you may also have to share
(b) information you provide only when you contact us for assistance; and
(c) information you wish to share about your community project.
This app makes use of Google Firebase services for authentication, database usage, and to store the images you may share about your community project.
Ecoskope does not collect information about the location of your device and does not disclose your information with third parties.
How to delete your account / Article 17 of GDPR: the Right to erasure, or the Right to be forgotten:
You can easily delete your account from the app's main menu. All of your personal data will be permanently deleted.
N.B. You can, however, choose to keep the app and continue using the public parts of the app as a guest without need to log in.
Children
This app is not primarily aimed for use by children under age of 13. If you, as a guardian or parent, realise that your child has opted in without your consent, please contact us and we will delete such information within reasonable time.
Security
At Ecoskope, we care about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Please be aware that, although we endeavour to provide reasonable security for the information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

By continuing to use this application as a member, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide a notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
